Promoted by Siddhartha Basu & Anita Kaul Basu, who have been widely acknowledged as India’s leading Quizzing and Knowledge based gaming creators and producers. The promoters have a track record for creating some of the most successful and iconic quiz shows in India like Kaun Banega Crorepati, Dus Ka Dum, Mastermind India, India’s Child Genius, News Wiz and other ground breaking talent based and reality shows. DigiTok services and products are designed for the information age, providing engaging, interactive, entertaining and learning platforms. We use leading-edge technology and proprietary software and content to give our clients, users and the audience a customized experience, which promises to be pure infotainment.
FOUNDER DIRECTORS
Siddhartha Basu, is a television producer-director, TV and live show host. A graduate of English Literature from St Stephen's College, Delhi, and a post graduate from Delhi University's Arts Faculty, he began his career in television by directing documentary films in 1977. He became a very successful and popular TV Quiz host, starting with Quiz Time in 1985, as well as a number of internationally acclaimed shows including Mastermind India and University Challenge for BBC. His biggest quiz show success came in 2000 when his company Synergy Communications (later Big Synergy) produced and he directed Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. Since then, he has produced and directed some of the top billed shows on TV and is currently the Director of Tree of Knowledge Digital Pvt Ltd, a content and digital company.
Anita Kaul Basu, the former Director of Big Synergy, studied at Tiffins’ Girls School, England and returned to India to do her BA (Hons) in English Literature from Miranda House, Delhi University. She did a post-graduation from the Indian Institute of Mass Communications, Delhi and joined the news magazine, India Today, where she worked for 5 years on the editorial board.
Anita has been an Executive Producer and Producer on several iconic shows, including Kaun Banega Crorepati, India’s Got Talent, Jhalak Dikhla Ja, Dus Ka Dum, Question of Answers, News Wiz, KBC Koshur and many more.
